Therapy for Clients Throughout Boulder
From my office at 2760 29th St, Suite 2C, I serve couples across Boulder. That includes downtown near Pearl Street, the CU Boulder and University Hill area, North and South Boulder, and the neighborhoods along Valmont and 28th Street. I live and work here, so I understand the pace of campus, quiet evenings near Wonderland Lake, bluebird days at Chautauqua, and traffic along the main corridors.
I have practiced in Boulder since 2001. My work draws on extensive training in Gestalt therapy and study of Dr. Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy. In session, I help partners slow down, see the pattern they are caught in, and practice new ways of reaching for each other. The goal is practical skills you can use in daily Boulder life. Whether you are coming from Table Mesa, Goss Grove, or Transit Village, I focus on serving Boulder couples.
Boulder Junction
If your routine runs through Depot Square and RTD, we design fast rituals between meetings and workouts so your relationship gets consistent care.
Transit Hub
North Boulder
Creative work and long days can drain energy for closeness. We reset the nervous system, name needs without criticism, and practice repairs that make evenings feel lighter.
Neighborhood
Glenwood Grove - North Iris
School runs and errands along Iris and 28th can crowd out connection. We slow the pace, add five-minute check-ins between stops, and practice calm starts to hard talks so stress from the day does not spill into the night.
Neighborhood
Flatiron Industrial Park
Shift work and workouts can crowd out connection. We plan brief rituals that fit before the gym or after late meetings so your relationship stays on the calendar.
Business District
The Flatirons
When weekends are on the trail, weekday routines still matter. We practice fast repairs and clear requests so small frustrations do not become distance.
Landmark
28th Street Corridor
Traffic and errands add pressure. In session we slow the loop, turn reactivity into clear signals, and practice repairs you can use the moment you hit the road.
Major Corridor
Pearl Street
I work with couples who live or work near the mall and creek path. Busy days and public-facing jobs can strain connection. We make repairs simple and quick so you can leave session and step back into downtown life feeling steadier.
Shopping District
Naropa University
If you value mindfulness yet feel stuck in repeating loops, we pair present-moment awareness with practical tools so insight turns into everyday action.
Campus Area
Noble Park
Errands along Valmont and quick runs on 30th can crowd out connection. We add short check-ins between stops, use calm starts for hard talks, and keep repairs small so evenings feel lighter.
Neighborhood
Valmont
Irregular hours and project sprints are common here. We use short check ins and simple repairs so tension does not snowball at home.
Corridor
South Boulder
From Martin Acres to Table Mesa, family logistics can eclipse connection. We shift from criticism and shutdown to curiosity and teamwork with brief exercises you can use at home.
Neighborhood
Eben G. Fine Park
Crowds and tight timelines can spark old patterns. We rehearse calm starts and short breaks that keep connection intact.
Park Area
Downtown Boulder
If calendars and events pull you in many directions, we build short check ins and clear language for hard moments. The goal is less escalation and more teamwork on the days that move fast.
Business District
East Boulder
For partners working along 55th and Valmont, commuting stress often trails into the evening. We soften defensiveness, set clear boundaries, and turn parallel routines into shared ones.
Business District
Arapahoe Ridge
Long stretches on Arapahoe and quick turns up 55th can thin out connection. We add short check-ins between stops, use softer first lines for hard talks, and keep repairs small so evenings feel lighter.
Neighborhood
Boulder Community Health Foothills
On call weeks and demanding cases are hard on couples. We build quick de-escalation skills and support plans that work during high-stress stretches.
Medical District
Table Mesa
School and store runs set the tempo here. We create quick touch points so you both feel seen before the day takes over.
Neighborhood Center
Transit Village
Busy professionals need simple structures. We keep repairs brief and repeatable so progress holds during packed weeks.
